I loved watching everyone’s faces, children and parents alike, when they first saw the Christmas tree in our Big Room last week. Easily 12-14 feet tall, that tree was overwhelming when I first saw it.

Our annual Thanksgiving Feast is today and everyone is psyched!  The classes have all been busy preparing the dishes (yes, from scratch, or very nearly) they’ll share with the other rooms:

Field trips provide a wonderful opportunity to take our learning beyond our school building, into the broader world.  Apple picking in September & Pumpkin Patch visits in October give us a sense for the passing of time as we watch the seasons unfold.
