It’s a wrap! The VMS Little Villagers Summer Program finished up Friday, 8/14, after a summer of fun and stimulating activities.
This summer saw our program operating at or near capacity every week; director Kellie Ridner was sad to have to turn away the occasional drop-in family on sold-out weeks. But those who attended had a great time with a variety of activities, projects, water fun and friends, both old and new. Special events included field trips to a splash park, the Air & Space Museum, trampoline fun and a scavenger hunt at our local Safeway, which was more fun than anyone expected! On weeks when they stayed in, the children were delighted by a magician, puppets and a snow cone vendor*. The Little Villagers even marched in the Montgomery Village Independence Day Parade, walking and waving the entire route! Many thanks to Kellie and the entire summer staff for a wonderful experience.
*We even had a surprise visitor. See if you can find him in the photos!
